Building Regulation Plans Berkshire

Claire Hall

Not to be confused with planning permission which focuses on the scale and design approval, building regulations are concerned with how the projects are physically built, ensuring everything is built in accordance with current standards and regulations.

A vital part of any building project, it’s wise to ensure this stage is correctly taken care of

At Aspects Architectural Services we are proud to be CIAT Affiliates, the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists, and we carry £1million professional indemnity insurance. Our preference is to obtain Building Regulation Approval prior to the start of any work under a 'Full Plans' application.

This means that when it comes time to build, all of the necessary approvals are in place and there is no space for doubt or specification changes throughout the construction process, allowing for accurate budgeting planning before any work begins.

We haven't had a claim in ten years and don't expect to in the future, but for your peace of mind, it's critical that we carry this level of insurance to ensure that all of our architectural related works are covered.

As well as building regulations, we can also assist with design, planning permission, visual tools, interiors and construction.
